MOTION DESIGN COMBINES DESIGN, ANIMATION, 2D AND 3D GRAPHICS, COMPOSITION, DIRECTION, INSTALLATION, DYNAMIC COMPOSITION. THANKS TO MOTION DESIGN, IT IS POSSIBLE TO CREATE VIDEO CLIPS, BREAKERS FOR MOVIES, GAMES AND SERIES, ADS AND LIGHT PROJECTIONS.

The course focuses on creating stylish and quality animations. We will cover the basics of working with After Effects, basic animation principles and the pipeline, and work with the character.

This course is suitable for both experienced graphic, web or UI / UX designers, and beginners who just want to get started with motion.

Program

  1. Motion Design. Editing and graphics. Basic tools.

Introduction → What is post-production, visual effects and motion design → Where and how is motion design done → Fields of use → Who is a motion designer? → Principles of project organization and naming → Formats and codecs → Layers and layer management → Animation tools in After Effects → Construction of the editing structure of the video → Masks and shapes → Basic animation of parameters → Basic work with animation keys

Practice

In the Motion Design course, you will make editing, motion design with transitions and footage animation, logo motion design development, loop animation, walk loop animation, abstract composition, 3D poster with typography, video using physics and UV Mapping, render of the product. Each student will present all learned techniques and practiced skills in their own final project with for a real client.

For practical work you will need: Adobe After Effects, Adobe Media Encoder, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Maxon Cinema 4D, Maxon Redshift Render.
