THE ARTIST COURSE IS MADE FOR THOSE WHO HAVE ALREADY RECEIVED BASIC ART EDUCATION OR HAVE APPROPRIATE PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE. THE PROGRAM IS AIMED AT DEVELOPING CRITICAL THINKING AND THE DEVELOPMENT OF RESEARCH METHODOLOGY AS ONE OF THE MOST VITAL ONE FOR AN ART PRACTICE.

The program combines individual learning and teamwork, lectures on art theory and hands-on workshops, discussions, meetings with renowned artists and art industry practitioners, informal classes in a public urban space, and collaboration with students of an art management course. During the course, each artist (individually or as part of a created group) will develop and present his research project, relying on the knowledge gained during the theoretical and practical blocks, as well as on constant consultations with the course curators. Based on the results of the training, the best developments of students will be implemented with the support of KAMA and partner institutions.

Lectures are delivered by leading curators, art managers, and artists of Ukraine.

The learning process can be viewed in our video gallery, you can ask all questions in person at the Welcome Day or by phone and email.
