THIS SPRING, WE ARE LAUNCHING A VIDEO EDITING COURSE PROGRAM DEVELOPED BY ONE OF THE MOST FAMOUS EDITORS IN UKRAINE – YURIY REZNICHENKO.
DURING THE COURSE, WE WILL STUDY THE BASIC PRINCIPLES AND CLASSIC EDITING TECHNIQUES, EXPLORE THE FEATURES OF WORKING WITH SOUND AND COLOR GRADING AND LEARN HOW TO WORK WITH "DAVINCI RESOLVE" AND "FINALCUT PRO" EDITING SOFTWARE.

The program is designed for directors, cameramen, art directors, creative producers and anyone who wants to understand the principles of editing and learn to edit video.

During training, we will be editing various video formats: music videos, commercials and short videos.

  1. What is editing, why it works and what are the editor's tasks, a short introduction story

    The practical part will focus on hardware and technical details

  2. Basic editing principles, classic methods

    Features of working with FinalCut and DaVinci Resolve editing software

  3. Preparation to work, communication with colleagues, cameras, video formats, interaction between film crew, editor and post production team

    Codecs, proxy, content organization

  4. Content selection, basic editing operations

  5. Fine-tuning, basic work with sound/color/effects, post production

  6. Collaboration, work automatization, tips & tricks. What to aspire, where to get inspiration. Trends in video editing

Practice

One of the most important parts of studying

You will need a laptop with FinalCur and DaVinci Resolve software installed.
We will be editing music videos, short videos and commercials during the course.
At the end of the course, we will carry out presentations of practical assignments with general screening and recommendations.
